Lexham Group Modern Slavery Statement 2025

This is Lexham Group’s annual Modern Slavery Statement, made in accordance with section 54 of the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 (the “Act”) and covers the financial year ending 2025.

The statement is made on behalf of Lexham Insurance Consultants, Marble Arch and Lancaster Gate Assistance who all form part of Lexham Group. The statement covers the Companies’ direct operations and any associated supply chains.

Modern slavery is a crime and a violation of fundamental human rights. It takes various forms, such as slavery, servitude, forced and compulsory labour and human trafficking. These forms of exploitation have in common the deprivation of a person’s liberty by another to exploit them for personal or commercial gain.

Lexham Group has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery. We are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings and relationships, and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure that modern slavery is not taking place anywhere in our business or supply chains.

We are committed to maintaining transparency in our approach to modern slavery, consistent with our disclosure obligations under the Modern Slavery Act 2015.

In this statement:

Organisational structure and supply chains

The Lexham Group is comprised of Lexham Insurance Consultants, Marble Arch and Lancaster Gate Assistance.

Lexham Insurance Consultants are specialist providers of motor bike insurance within the UK retail market.

Marble Arch provide claims handling services for Lexham Insurance Consultants customers.

Lancaster Gate Assistance is an appointed representative of Lexham Insurance Consultants who specialise in accident aftercare including claims management services, hire vehicles and repair solutions.

In addition to core Group companies, there is also a wide-ranging supply chain including IT suppliers, facilities management, claims related services, legal services, recruitment providers etc.

We set clear standards and expectations for our suppliers regarding Modern Slavery and Exploitation and expect them to operate in accordance with these standards.

Policies in relation to slavery and human trafficking

We are committed to respecting human rights and ensuring modern slavery has no place within our business or supply chain. This commitment is supported by several policies and codes that guide how we work, including:

Anti-Harassment and Bullying Policy

This policy applies to all employees and sets out the standards of behaviours expected within the Group together with the process that will be followed where these standards are not met

Non-Financial Misconduct Policy

The Non-Financial Misconduct Policy has been embedded within the Group in line with the FCA’s expectations. It provides a framework for identifying, preventing and addressing instances of non-financial misconduct

Whistleblowing Policy

Our Whistleblowing Policy allows employees to raise concerns confidentially, regarding workplace misconduct or other concerns where they believe harm may be caused to customers, colleagues or the wider business.

Due diligence processes

We understand that elements of any supply chain can bring increased risk and so the intention of due diligence conducted by Lexham Group on their supply chain is to ensure that modern slavery standards and controls are at least at the same level as Lexham Group itself, in order for the relationship to continue.

Where concerns are identified, appropriate action will be considered to address those concerns and, where necessary, to protect the Group from exposure to modern slavery risks.

Risk assessment and management

We are committed to reviewing our exposure to modern slavery at least annually together with the effectiveness of the controls we have in place to manage this risk exposure.

The review considers the nature of our operations, our supply chain and any areas where there may be an increased risk of modern slavery or exploitation.

Where risks or areas for improvement are identified, appropriate actions will be considered and monitored.

Key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of steps being taken

We will take the outputs of the risk assessment and identify any areas of improvement required, ensuring that any actions taken are reported and tracked to conclusion. Enabling us to monitor the effectiveness of the measures we have in place and identify any further improvements required.

Training on modern slavery and trafficking

To support staff awareness of modern slavery and human trafficking across the Group we ensure all staff involved in the procurement and management of suppliers receive annual training on the requirements of the Modern Slavery Act 2015, and their responsibility to ensure compliance.

This training helps relevant employees understand the risks associated with modern slavery and the importance of identifying and escalating any concerns through the appropriate channels.

This statement has been approved by the relevant governing body of Lexham Group and is made in accordance with Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
